Selecting a Photographer

Points to Consider

According to photographik.org:

"It's your wedding. And out of the myriad decisions you will make in planning one of the biggest and most important days of your life, hiring the right photographer may very well be the most important. After all, the wedding cake will be eaten, the flowers will eventually wilt and the wedding reception will be over when it is time for you and your betrothed to head home and prepare for the honeymoon. After all is said and done, it will be the images of your day that will help you to always remember all of the emotion, laughter, tears and sacredness of that day.

Your wedding photographer should be selected with care. After all, you won't have the opportunity to do it all over again if you're not satisfied with your wedding photos. In many cases, the axiom of "you get what you pay for" is absolutely true. If you're too price conscious, then you may very well be disappointed with your wedding photos (ie. don't hire a wedding photographer off of craigslist!). But it is also certainly possible to find a super talented wedding photographer who doesn't cost an arm and a leg."

I make it my top priority to first and foremost please the bride.  Her dreams of her “perfect day” should not be compromised by an unreliable, hard to work with photographer.  The details should be worked out in advance of the wedding day and the bride should not be distracted by hired services on the day of the wedding.
